How we approach it
Most executors discover the job is bigger than they expected. The first conversation is free and it usually clears up half the worry.
We work alongside the family solicitor where there is one, or run the whole thing ourselves where the family prefers one point of contact. Either way, the goal is the same: file accurately, distribute properly, and keep the family informed in plain English.
An honest caveat. We are not a probate-only firm and we are not the cheapest option in the market. Where the family wants someone who already knows the tax position and the family numbers, we are usually a better fit than a probate factory. Where the estate is straightforward and budget matters most, we will point you at a fixed-fee online provider.
